En anglais, on utilise les nombres ordinaux (premier, deuxième, etc...) pour indiquer la date. Pour former ces nombres, la règle générale est d'ajouter -th au nombre cardinal. Mais il y a de très nombreuses exceptions.
General rule
Add -th to the cardinal number > 4th : the fourth
Exceptions
1st : the first
2nd : the second (attention, la forme abrégée a la terminaison "nd")
3rd : the third (attention, la forme abrégée a la terminaison "rd")
8th : the eighth (on ajoute uniquement un "h", pour ne pas doubler le "t")
9th : the ninth (le "e" final tombe)
12th : the twelfth
20th : the twentieth

On met toujours une majuscule aux jours et aux mois en anglais.
Monday, 27th November 2013. On dit : Monday, the twenty-seventh of November twenty thirteen.
